Snowp Doggy Dog (get it?)

Today started with LOTS of snow... which canceled my plans to go into Lyon. The buses were canceled and the tram was working at 40% efficiency. If that wasn't enough reason to stay home... I just really didn't feel like going out into the snow when I have limited snow gear on hand. It stopped snowing at about 3pm... and started back up this evening. By noon, I probably had 6 inches on my balcony. I don't think I have nearly that much anymore... it must have melted some when the sun came out this afternoon. Most buses are back on and the tram is fully functioning, so I should be ok to get to work tomorrow. I emailed Murielle, asking about my lesson, and she didn't mention anything about school being canceled in her reply (however, she has been out sick because of her back since last Thursday). It isn't supposed to snow anymore tonight, but it is supposed to be in the 20's tomorrow morning, so we shall see if anything is canceled if things freeze over.

For the most part... I cleaned up my apartment (tried to get rid of as much electrician dust as possible), hand washed some laundry (which I've never done before... it made me feel very domestic), and watched Elf, the latest episode of Glee, and several Friends episodes. I realized I hadn't really watched "tv" in a while. It was nice to just sit and do my nails and drink hot chocolate. Even if I didn't get to do the things I had planned on doing, it was kind of a perfect, stay at home, snow day:)

Here's wishing you get some snow your way, wherever you are!
Reste cool:)

It snowed last night!

Hello all! Just a quick update- Amy and I are headed to Strasbourg today. We will be spending the night to be there for the opening of the Christmas Markets tomorrow. I'm going to bring my laptop, so hopefully I can update you on a few things, like our trip to Avignon and our Thanksgiving feast... but we shall see!

It snowed last night! It was so weird to wake up to buildings and grass covered with a half-inch this morning....

Got to go get ready! Reste cool for now:)
