Last Friday afternoon, right after the mid-day school break, I heard chanting from outside my window. I looked out, and sure enough, there was just about an entire Elementary school parading down my street from the school right around the corner (unfortunately not one of my 3 schools). They were processing around town, showing off their Carnival costumes. They were chanting: Carnival, défilé, Carnival, défilé, one, two, freee! Which means: Carnival parade, Carnival parade, one, two, three:)
Later that evening, I took another picture from my window.... a pretty spring time sunset!
Enjoy!
cool!
ReplyDeleteThe photo in your header is incredible! Where abouts was it taken?
ReplyDeleteThanks French Connections! The picture in the header is taken from atop Fourvière hill, or praying hill, next to the Fourvière Basilica, in Lyon. It's a beautiful overlook!
